1. Information We Collect

To provide account registration, interest-based community features, local activity discovery, chat, and event coordination on Play Together, we collect information you actively provide or upload, including:

  • Account: email, phone number, sign-in method, user ID
  • Profile: nickname, gender, birthday, city, zodiac, MBTI, school, occupation, and optional profile details
  • Avatar and photo album images
  • Chat messages, activity participation, favorites, community posts
  • Approximate location (with permission) for nearby activity recommendations

2. How We Use Your Information

The information above, together with photos and chat content, is used for account identification, interest-based activity recommendations, community interaction, and private messaging. It is not used for any purpose unrelated to providing our service.

3. SMS Verification (Twilio)

When you sign in with a phone number, we send a one-time verification code via SMS through Twilio. We do not send marketing SMS. See our SMS Consent page for details on frequency, opt-out (reply STOP), and message rates.

4. Marketing Data Sharing

We do not share or sell end-user personal information, phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent records with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

We may share limited information only with trusted service providers that help us operate our services (such as SMS verification, cloud hosting, analytics, and payment processing). These providers may only use the information to provide services on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage and Protection

Your data is stored on secure, access-controlled backend infrastructure with encrypted transport (TLS). Only authorized engineers may access it, and only when strictly necessary.

6. Your Rights

  • Edit or delete your profile and photos at any time
  • Block and report other users
  • Request account deletion — we will delete or anonymize your data in accordance with applicable law

7. Data Deletion

You can request account deletion at any time from Settings → Delete Account. After confirmation, we will:

  • Delete your profile information
  • Delete your avatar
  • Delete photos you uploaded to your album
  • Delete moments (posts) you published
  • Delete files that belong to you in our Storage
  • Chat history is handled according to platform rules: to preserve the integrity of other users' conversations, the system may retain message content while removing your identifying information or anonymizing it where applicable

Deletion is irreversible. Once completed, your account and the data above cannot be recovered.

8. Children

Play Together is not directed to children under 17. Users must meet the minimum age required by the App Store rating (17+) and their local jurisdiction.
